"Stonechat" and "Cuckoo's Nest" are two rurally located self-catering cottages set on the world-famous Causeway Coastal Route - just outside the town of Ballycastle on the road to Ballintoy. The Giant’s Causeway is just 10 minutes away by car, while the exhilarating Carrick-a-Rede Ropebridge is only a 5 minute drive.
Crockatinney cottages offer an ideal base for those wishing to explore the North Antrim Coast. Lovingly finished to a high standard (view our picture gallery) they perfectly blend country and modern living.
Within the grounds of Crockatinney, there is a 19th Century Famine Graveyard, which is untouched as a mark of respect to those buried there. The original stone walls and gate remain to this day. The large area of surrounding natural terrain is full of wildlife - if visitors are very lucky, they may even hear the call of the elusive cuckoo! The cottages are also within walking distance of Kinbane, a 16th-century castle, which remains one of the North Coast's hidden gems.
